Hey guys i purchased a new 21.5" Imac yesterday from Future Shop and i was wondering if apple annouced anything about a free upgrade to people that purchased yesterday and later, ive searched all over the web but can't find anything?

yes any purchase on june 6 or later will be able to apply for a lion download for free.

its free of charge if u purchased a mac on the 6th of june or later, u have to send in a claim (easiest option would just be to ring them)

From this Apple Press Release, Mac OS X Lion With 250 New Features Available in July From Mac App Store:

The Mac OS X Lion Up-To-Date upgrade is available at no additional charge via the Mac App Store to all customers who purchased a qualifying new Mac system from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller on or after June 6, 2011. Users must request their Up-To-Date upgrade within 30 days of purchase of their Mac computer. Customers who purchase a qualifying Mac between June 6, 2011 and the date when Lion is available in the Mac App Store will have 30 days from Lion’s official release date to make a request.​
