This is an issue that has kept showing up since Lion. I have Sparrow constantly running on its own space, which also happens to be the last space in my setup. For some reason, 90% of the time I close an app, OS X switches over to Sparrow, forcing me to swipe back over. It does this even if Sparrow isn't the most recently used app.
Anyone know what is causing it? How about a fix? I know there's a preference I can change to make it so that it won't automatically switch spaces to the active window of an application, but that breaks other functionality that I do like. I also don't want to deny Sparrow its own space.
