OS X Mavericks multi-monitor mode demoed on six 27-inch displays

I think this is going to be a problem for me. They keep mucking with Spaces in a bad way. For example, I have multi monitors on each computer. In Mavericks each monitor is apparently completely independent. So if you have two spaces, now you have four combinations. If you have 16 spaces like I do, you have 256 possible combinations. This is getting too complicated!

Additionally my use model is for each desktop is for some program, like doing Java programming. So I'll have Java code windows spread across the monitors. The last thing I want is for each of the monitors to be independently changeable.

They had better put a checkbox or plist option to turn this off.

Considering he launched System Preferences before showing the way multiple monitors works in Mavericks, part way through the video, I'm sure there is an option.
