OS X Yosemite and iTunes 12.0.1.26 issues

Late 2009 iMac is all updated with the current Yosemite and iTunes. iTunes will not run when clicking the icon. Any other users having the same issue? Any fixes?

I have verified/fixed disk permissions.

The only way I can get it to work is go to the iTunes terminal icon.
