Maybe it's not working because it isn't under Apple apps or featured and they only minutes ago removed the Mavericks link and you can only get to it via the direct link or a Yosemite search, so it may not be fully loaded.

Gun jumpers.

Just finished downloading. I'm in the UK but not upgrading my Mac Mini till the server app gets updated.

Updating my iMac and MacBooks now.

Sorry, I'm confused (and on very limited bandwidth).

I'm in PB6 but there is no update available. It sounds like I have to download the free installer (5GB worth) - but people are saying that they get an "already installed" message when they try and run it?

I assume then that 10.10.1, when that is released, will update PB6 to... 10.10.1 as thought PB6 was the final version?

Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing here.

it wasn't even available in the dutch store for hours, but okay, I am not patient enough - yay, finally the... never mind, temporary unavailable. NOooooOo

i miss steve

Likewise on the Dev Preview side. Wonder if we actually need to download this or not...

I wonder if they are going to continue to do a public beta for like 10.10.1? It would probably be easier to stick to dev/pb previews than to go to consumer release.

Let's see what everyone moans about first with this free update!

Install size? Too slow to download? Not able to download? Won't work on my Yonah based MacBook? Who knows...

I will download and install it when it's "available" to the general public later on. I for one really want to see how the UI looks on a Mac without a Retina Display. I love my older 13" MacBook Pro. My MBP is a Penryn Core 2 Duo model with a Nvidia GPU. I may miss out on some features but considering how long ago I bought this Mac, it's been a rock solid performer despite it's age.

Seriously.....with the piddly market share OS X has and the massive resources Apple has....why is it every launch is the same. Slow or not available?

It's all good!

i think they're slowing rolling this out so their servers don't get congested. would be the most logical thing.

Trying to DL in Prague... 120mbps connection but it seems to have stalled at around 1gb.... will have to try tomorrow.

It seems that the GM 3.0 candidate is the final version..

No,
GM 3 was build version 14A388a
PB6 was build version 14A388b

Final GM is 14A389.

There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (null)

Thats just great!

Any idea if it's possible to download this once from Mac App Store and install it on my Air, Pro and iMac? Don't want to download thrice.

Mavericks and Mountain Lion both download their installers into your Applications folder - at least they did for me. I moved the installers to our file server to install on the five macs that I manage at out office without any problems.

Sadly even if I wanted to install Yosemite on my imac I couldn't because we don't have broadband here only electricity in my remote location.
I'd have to drag the computer all the way to the Apple Store or go there and buy a thumb drive installer disk.
