I did not go through any of the betas of this Watch OS, so I just started using the Siri watch face yesterday.
I did turn off photos, news, and, and breath reminders as sources for the face. All of those things just seemed unnecessary for my needs and battery killers.

With that said, all I have noticed this watch face telling me so far is ...

-sunset, sunrise times
-upcoming calendar events
-upcoming reminders
-active timers, stopwatch, alarms (though it only shows alarm for the day, not the next)

What else can I expect this watch face to tell me? I assume it must learn over time ...
it would be cool if (like in an image I saw a while back) the watch told me how long it would take me to get to work.

How did you tweak the sources for the face? I can't find that option.

I think this is pretty much it. It'll also display a card for music if you're currently listening to music. I do wish it was more dynamic. It's been showing me the current weather and that the sunset is at 6:46 all day. It'd be nice if the sunrise/sunset card appeared close to when those events were happening I don't need to see it all day.

I've been using it for almost a week now, and I have to say I'm in love with this watch face.

Expected items/cards that I see:

-calendar events
-reminders
-daily weather

What I didn't expect but was awesome to be surprised by:

-sunrise and sunset
-photo memories
-HomeKit suggestions (at night my GoodBye scene will be default card on the Siri face)
-scrolling back to see previous items
-recently played media (quick way to jump in and start controlling audio)
-activity notification later in the day with suggestions on how to close my rings.

Overall I'm pleasantly surprised and really am enjoying this watch face. Only thing I'd like to see added is maybe an Activity card.

Activity card would be nice. I'd be interested in having it be able to pull from 3rd party apps. If I could replace the weather app with Dark Sky for example that'd be great or Reminders swapped out for Things 3. It's a step in the right direction though I think a more dynamic / predictive watch face is the best solution for a device like the Apple Watch.

Yeah, agreed. I really like the proactive nature of it (although somewhat limited still), I feel like it's such a useful tool in that regard. I almost feel like the default lock screen or today view on iOS should be like this as well

Somewhat off topic, but this is the kind of stuff (along with notifications and fitness) that can help the Watch excel rather than v1 which was really pushing an app model on the wrist.

PS. Wish we could have customizable control centre. With so many icons there now the one I use most frequently is out of view and needs to be scrolled to reach.

It will give you the HomeKit stuff. I have been using the beta since I think beta 4. It took a couple of days to appear, but it will show you the Good morning command when you wake up. I don’t use goodnight, so that one does not show up, but I think the other one was I am home. Anyway that does work.

I am looking for it to show how long it will take me to get to work. I feel like that would be a great addition and I am not sure why they didn’t add it from the start.

Lol for me its reversed - I don't use a Good Morning Scene but do have a Goodnight Scene.

Agreed re the work & estimated travel time. Strange as I don't see that on the iPhone any longer now that I think about it. In iOS 9 and 10 used to see those estimated travel times for all calendar events. Did that go away?

I have the Siri face, but I have a question. Where does it pull the photos from since the photos shown in the Siri face, are not the ones that are in the photos app on the watch.

I sync the favourites album from my phone to my watch, and these are the photos I see when I open the photo app on the watch, but the photos shown on the Siri face are something completely different and I have no idea where they come from.

Quite sure it's pulling them from Memories in the Photos app on iPhone.

Is anyone getting the option to disable News cards? I don’t get that option on mine

I had 5 news stories this morning, read them but couldn’t see a way to delete them so they hung around most of the day. Eventually I deleted all notifications for News, then deleted the app from my iPhone. There should be some way to delete stories permanently once they’re read, unless I’ve missed something.

So far I like the Siri watch face, but I'm not sure if I will use it as much as my other favorite faces once the novelty has worn off. It's not as attractive as other high-information (multiple complication) faces like Modular, Utility, Simple, Color, etc. However it could be helpful at times. It would be a great travel face for displaying things like your next flight info, boarding pass, calendar, weather, etc.

Hopefully Apple will allow third party apps to be optional data sources. I think Siri would be more useful if Siri could display info from some of my third party apps.

As far as complications go: I replaced the Siri complication on the Siri watch face with something more useful. I can always say, "Hey Siri!" when I need to invoke Siri.

So sounds like what I’m seeing is about all I’ll see. That’s fine. I wish I got traffic updates ... unsure how to enable that.

You can’t as of now. Apple has not added that as an option. Until they do, we won’t get traffic updates

I saw this Imagine on the news app and am really curious how this has the traffic info on. Is this a fake pic?

I recall getting traffic notifications in those distant days before iOS 11/watchOS 4. Also used to get “around 10 minutes to drive home” notifications.

Sorry for the terrible lines, but this says we should be getting traffic updates. I have never ever gotten them on Watch. How do we change that? I go to work at the same time every single day.

I like the Siri Watch Face so far. One thing that annoys me is that it shows me the sunset card at or near the top of the list the whole day. The News and Stocks cards are still there, but I have to scroll down to see them. The Siri face is all about presenting the most relevant info, so it seems like News/Weather/Stocks should be higher up during the morning hours than the sunset time. Anyone else seeing this?
