It certainly will.

The original iMac G5 needs to use its OS X 10.3.5 DVD. If you've lost that DVD you need to get a replacement or buy a 10.4 DVD.

The plain 10.3.0 CD's won't work. I don't know which version of 10.3 was last sold via retail.

I've never used an older operating system then what shipped with the Mac.

Mac OS: Versions, builds included with PowerPC Macs (since 1998)

Don't install older versions of Mac OS than what comes with your computer
