The problem I'm having is when I want to highlight text in the browser window, holding down the mouse button and moving the curser around, the whole firefox application moves around the screen instead of allowing me to highlight text. Is this an option I can turn off or am I doing something wrong?

Does this occur on just a particular site? Some sites lock the text so it can't be copied.

It is not normal if this happens everywhere. Perhaps a FF specific forum would be of better assistance. You could try deleting FF, and all FF preferences and plist files and reinstalling and see if that helps. Or, you could repair permissions to see if there is a permission problem with one of the plist files.

    this happens on every site.
I don't remember if this happens before I upgraded to FF3.0, but its certainly very annoying.

That's definitely not standard behavior. Post to the MozillaZine forums and see if they know about this.
