Hey All,
I am having an issue with my keyboard's battery life. When I go into system preferences the battery life on my keyboard always shows @ 100%. I have tried a new keyboard and the problem still exist. I have called AppleCare and didn't really get anywhere. I was wondering if anyone on here had this issue and fixed it. Not a major problems just annoying.

Try BatteryLevel and see if it shows the same thing.

I have tried apps from the app store and they display the correct battery level. I was just wanting to get it fixed in the System Preferences menu.

Are you using rechargeable cells? I use Eneloops, and the battery meter is a complete waste of time....All I know is that the batteries in my MM fall off the cliff and die at 38%, and the KB cells die at 40% The battery meter works okay if you are using store bought disposable cells, but is not much use otherwise.

Sometimes the meter will show 90% for weeks, then the batteries just die.
