OSX Mavericks Re-Install

I recently purchased a nMP, and found that I can no longer use my 10.9.1 USB install disk that I used for clean installs on my old Mac Mini.

From what I've read, it seems that Mavericks is now forked, and I would need the nMP-specific version....is this correct?
 
You would be correct.
I expect that the 10.9.2 update will fix that.
For now, if you need to reinstall, you can reinstall by booting from your Recovery system on your nMP.
