ok guys so here's the situation...
I repaired permissions from utilities, and there's no difference in osx snappyness, I then tried to run terminal from a admin acount to the maintenance thing, but am unsure if anything has happened, all that came up is as follows:
"We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:
#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.
#3) With great power comes great responsibility."
then it went back to the part when it displays your user name etc like it did at first.
is it finished yet, can i run this on any account, and can i do stuff while its running?
also, my girlfriend said her mbp was way faster than my mac for internet, even though adslguide speed test says my broadband is twice as fast
Any ideas guys?
