Hey guys, I have a somehow big Problem, my MacBook pro (current generation) is acting up... I need to reinstall OSX , but I don't have the restore disks with me that came with the macbook, I already bought the 10.6.3 Retail DVD which Does not boot, probably because my macbook is too new

is there anyway I can reinstall OSX on my Macbook using that retail DvD or am I just out of luck?

download 10.6.4 and make a bootable thumb drive, you will have to google how to do that yourself :)

Just go to the apple store they will do it for you for free. I had the same issue, and just did the install there.
