What are your most wished for features in OSX?

    I'll start us off:

    • Siri
    • iLife and iTunes redesign. Break up apps into "Books," "Movies," "Music" etc. (At least for Macs. Leave iTunes the same for windows compatibility, or better yet, move it into iCloud and have access to apps on the server.)
    • Apple Pay
    • Updated Time Machine with more granular options for backup. Or iCloud Backup
    • Updated Dashboard / Remove Dashboard
    • Extensions - For Mac App Store Apps to remove burdensome sandboxing restrictions
    • Updated Utility apps.
    • Squash connectivity bugs
    • iOS parity on things like health/home/passbook/newstand etc.

    • Touch ID
    • Retina Display's Across all Devices
    • Better Gaming Hardware (yeah right ;))

Great list. I would be happy with any of these ideas. I especially like the focus on iOS parity. Drives me nuts when I have to get my phone out of my bag across the room to do something relatively simple, like check something in Passbook, when I have a perfectly capable computer right in front of me.

It seems like Apple is headed in the direction of parity across OS's, what with the Yosemite redesign and the addition of the Photos app and Continuity/Handoff. Hope it continues.

Also agree that iTunes has become way too bloated and out of focus and that separate apps would be better.
