OTB 1.1.3 ipod touch downgrade help

I have followed every single instruction to downgrade it to 1.1.1 and while itunes says its extracting the 1.1.1 firmware it says error and the only way to use the touch is to restore it to 1.1.3

what the heck am i doing wrong?
