The "Other" category in the capacity meter keeps growing. I didn't even use it last night and this morning I synced it, the "Other" category grew from 400B to over 500MB. No app updates, no new files added, nothing. I got a few new emails but they are all text emails with no attachments. A few of them have a picture or two but not something 100MB+ in size. I thought maybe it was the cache from Safari or other apps so I rebooted it. Nothing. Any thoughts?

Mine is over 1GB. I'd like to know exactly what it is and how to manage it. Apple doesn't think we need to know... 🙄

EDIT: My reading comprehension sucks. I have read where people have done restores from their iTunes backups and it has helped fix the issue.

Problem solved! I just clicked restored the firmware and set it up from a backup. Went down from 500MB+ to 300MB+.
