Others do not receive my text messages

For some reason, out of no where, other people do not seem to be receiving my text messages. I can receive messages, but when sent, they are not received. This has only occurred in the past 2-3 days. Has anyone else had an issue like this?

I have on occasion. Like so many things though, I can't tell if it's the carrier or the phone.

I thought maybe it was related to me using the "3rd keyboard" to make the mouth on this angry yet serious face: >:-| But that doesn't seem to be consistent.

I think it's probably a carrier issue.

SMS is not direct connect, so delivery is not guaranteed. Are you including any special characters like emoji?

Nothing special - just ordinary text messages. And messages have not been delivered after three full days.

are they are different carriers? Also SMS is not direct connection so it could of gotten lost in the airways.

My fiance and I were having the same issue this week. None of her texts were going through, but we thought it was both phones (since she's the only one I constantly text). We're both on ATT, I have a 3G iPhone, she has a BB Curve. Yesterday afternoon we both cleaned our phones w/ compressed air and ejected SIM cards to clean off.
Low and behold, it turns out it was simple as that, just needed a cleaning. 🙂

If nothing else, I would check w/ a number of your friends to see if they've received texts from you, or see if you can get any from them. If worse comes to worse, you may need to call the carrier and see if they can hook you up w/ a new SIM card.

Try adding the area code to the number that you're texting. Some carriers don't send messages properly if there is no area code: 1 (xxx) xxx xxxx - at least that's the format for Canadian numbers.

It's going from AT&T (my iPhone) to AT&T (a Samsung something or other). This is a number I've been texting for a long time, nothing has changed, and all of a sudden they are not being received.

Strangely, I can send/receive texts to other phones fine. What's more, the other phone can send/receive texts to others fine. For some reason, the other phone simply will not receive MY texts. ???
