"Others" Storage went back to under 500mb after 7.1.1 update

It was 1.4GB in 7.0- 7.1 update.. apple fixed this bugs?

I updated via iTunes, wipe and restore backup

Mine was 1.6 gig before update and 1.6 after update. Nothing has been fixed.

If you do a clean install via iTunes then the 'other' will always be drastically reduced. It isn't usually the case OTA .

Can't say about other space. However before iOS 7.1.1 update on my iPhone 5S was left 6.5GB of 16GB, after update it is now 7.4GB 😵

i did clean install, and then restore from backup .

I wasn't paying attention but looking at used storage it seems it increased 100-200 mb.

Every time I sync with iTunes I notice other space decrease.

i did clean install, and then restore from backup .

When you do a clean install or a clean install from back up with iTunes this will happen. I do this to my phone every 6-8 months to gain some of that lost storage back.
