iPad mini Otterbox cases pricing question

I'm looking at getting the otterbox for the retina mini. I see I can get it from otterbox for $70. Does anybody know when it first shows up on Amazon if it will likely be cheaper and typically how long it takes to show up on Amazon? Thanks.

No, that is for the regular mini. They have a new one for the Retina mini

Just a quick update. It seems the difference between the Retina mini and original mini Otterbox cases is the opening in the center of the back for the new speaker on the Retina mini. It does seem that the case for the original mini will fit the Retina mini but would block that speaker.

Otterbox does advertise in the tech specs for the Retina mini case that it will work with both but they don't advertise that on the original mini case.

I don't see the Retina mini Otterbox listed anywhere for sale other than Otterbox's website.

It is for the first gen mini not the 2nd. The second on has mic on the back that gets covered by the first get mini cases.

Ah, didn't notice that, oh well, my Incipio folio Lexington case for the 1st Gen Mini fits the rMini, just covers that 2nd Mic. I was wondering why there was a specific rMini Lexington case for the rMini. Doesn't effect me though, I don't use the Mic at all as I don't use FaceTime.

That link does now show sold by Amazon however I'm looking for the pink case for my daughter. Hopefully it means that they will be in soon. I might pick up an original mini case and just return it when Amazon has them in stock.
