Otterbox commuter question

I have a iphone 5 and Im thinking about buying an otterbox commuter, my question is if i buy this do i need to use their screen protector or a screen protector at all? I currently have the zagg screen protector on my iphone which I want to take off because it has an orange peel effect, so would I need a screen protector and will be screen be protected if I bought the otterbox commuter?

The commuter doesn't have built in screen protection, it does have quite a lip around the screen, but using a protector would be up to you. Nobody can really tell you if you should or not, it's a personal preference thing

The otterbox commuter just just like any other case that has a lip on the front. I use the tech armor screen protector on my iPhone 5 and it works great with the commuter. You will have no problems with a using any other branded screen protector with the commuter.
