Otterbox Defender and Commuter for Dirt Cheap on Their Website

Check back to their website... They have the all white for defender already...

Btw... How much more bulkier is the defender compared to the commuter? Cause the white defender is very tempting...

Definitely bulkier. The Defender for some strange reason feels better in the hand though. I have 2 Defenders, but I stay clear now because the silicone is just trash that they use.

I am pretty amazed and impressed that Otterbox honored their mistake. I got 1 defender and 1 commuter and they came yesterday. I don't think I would have bought either otherwise but I gotta say I really like the commuter. I will probably use the defender when I snowmobile. A little more protection for the activity.

I was very surprised when my case showed up on my doorstep. I am even more amazed that no explanation from Otterbox was given as to why they were so cheap for such a short period of time. Im not complaning tho

Haha same here but it doesn't hurt to have a spare rugged case that you got for 5 bucks incase you need it for an event where you need extra protection.. In my case to go snow boarding or hiking.

The Commuter case I bought came in the retail packaging, but the Defender case came only in a plastic bag. For the price, it is a small sacrifice. However, because the Defender case is supposed to be a gift for someone else (who can be a bit particular about original packaging), I emailed Otterbox about it and they said they messed up and would send out a replacement.

Haha really?? I'm gonna email them and say why was mine sent in a plastic bag as well, because mine was sent in a plastic bag and I was pretty disappointed, but on the other hand we can't complain when we got a case and clip with it for 5 bucks instead of 50.

I was somewhat disappointed myself, but it's hard to complain when I got both cases shipped for just under $6 total. I figured that I would just ask them if it would be possible to just send an empty box and see what they had to say. With this being my first time dealing with Otterbox, I assume they will want me to return the first case.
