I just went to best buy and got the Ballistic. The guy said if the otterbox comes out within 14 days I can exchange it.

Out of curiosity, where was yours made? Mine says assembled in China and the fit is definitely off. The length is a bit too long and the depth is small. The case snaps together fine without the phone in it. It's also hard getting the Lightning cable and headphones connected because the port flaps are so stiff and swing up instead of down like previous defenders. I just don't get their decisions on this one.

I'd have to disassemble to see. But I don't have those issues you mention. When I placed the phone in the plastic case it had MAYBE a 1-mm bit of slide up/down. Case snapped together fine with the phone inside. Got mine at the VZW store. Again the only issue(s) is control center - for that I have to place my finger/thumb just above the home button for it to work consistently. Because of the larger width I think the sleep button is a bit stiff to press.

Mine is assembled in china. Im pretty sure they all are. Otterbox is sending out a replacement but I don't have high hopes on it fitting better. I think once a little time passes they will revise the defender to fit a little tighter. I would use it honestly for now but the volume button pressing is horrible for me.

I have a spigen slim armor and neo that I am using and couldn't be more happy with them for the price.

After using my 6 plus with the ballistic for a few hours, man does it feel big. Without the case it was fine but with I feel like it's double we weight and super thick. I'll most likely keep the plus regardless though

Yeah it does feel huge, I am waiting for the Otterbox as well... They say it should come out very soon. I also ordered the UAG scout today to try out, will post pics when I get it. The ballistic feels safe and protective, but gigantic  but I'm guessing the Defender is going to be HUGE too  We shall see!

How does UAG compare to otterbox generally? I've never heard of them to be honest. They look pretty legit though!

No idea really, I've never had one of their cases before. I actually just discovered their cases today while searching online -- but they seem to have really good reviews on Amazon for other phones / iPhones. It seems it's kinda a hybrid of the Defender and Commuter (I'm hoping) -- having a screen protector and drop protection, but hopefully not gigantic bulkiness / weight.

Otterbox Defender Vs Spigen Tough Armor?

Using my tough armor for everyday use and otterbox defender for work and such. I'm normally a huge advocate for UAG but the button covers are a bit of a disappointment to me. I've used the UAG cases on my last couple of phones. This is my first spigen. Seems to be pretty good.

I think that the OtterBox Symmetry might be a great compromise. Still very protective and not as bulky as the Defender.

I'm really disappointed with my Tough Armor. I don't feel comfortable using it, really.

Is the TA not the iPhone 6 equivalent of its iPhone 5/S brother?

I had a TA on my 5 and kept it for my 5S as I thought it was so good.

I ordered a Tough Armor Slim for my 6 Plus, then read on here that somebody said it was pants, so I ordered a Tough Armor and both are now waiting for me at home (I'm on holiday in Jamaica!).

I dunno mate. It's my first Spigen case. Definitely lacking on lip above the screen though. Sorry!

Do we have dimensions on the Otterboxes for the 6 Plus yet?

I've always had an otter box, but I am a bit weary of getting one for the 6 plus. The phone is big enough as it is...

Speaking for the Tough Armor, I'm a big fan. Dropped my 5S in it several times (including on asphalt) and not a scratch. I'm currently using their Slim Armor.

I too would like to know that. I have a Ballistic case on my 6 plus and it feels like a brick. I sure hope the otterbox is lower profile and lighter.

i have the Defender on my new i6 and in order to press and volume buttons or the power button takes a lot of force- unlike my defender for the 5s- otherwise the case is great- I cut the thick plastic screen protector out and installed a screen protector that I got at the local Apple store- the screen protector is a anti glare and sucks compared to the SGP i had on my 5s but will have to work for now- it doesn't handle the smudges well..

Heads up on the otterbox...

It left a residue on the front of my phone, near the home button, that I can't get rid of. It came from the thin film of plastic that covers the home button/touchID. I can't tell if it's scratching or glue or what, but there is a home-plate/ shaped box around my home button. Very worried that I'll never be rid of the issue.

Returning my Defender today. I have complaints about minor things (It's bulky and buttons are hard to press), but my main issue is that the case is too big for the phone. I went to plug in my headphones, and it pushed the phone far enough into the case that I couldn't plug in the headphones. I also don't like my phone being able to move inside a plastic shell in fear that it will just scratch it up. The extra space also allows dust or other small particles to get inside the case. I'd rather have a very snug case. Looks like I'll be waiting til they update it with the proper measurements.

I just received my tough armor. It's nice but I don't know how much protection it will do.

To be honest I'm leaning towards returning my 6+ and getting a 6. No matter what case I use it seems to be too big in my front jeans pocket. It's such a tough decision though.
