Anyone know what kind of stain this is, and what would take it off? A ring develped around the clear plastic part of the case, that surrounds the logo.

It's literally faded from sunlight. All cases will eventually do that on unprotected areas. I have a fade ring around my camera lens and it looks like you have a very faint one too. Join the club!
