All of the talk of how certain cases look on different colourways of iPhone remind me of one of my favourite features of the  store (not sure if this is overlooked or widely known?):

The way Apple make bespoke iPhone-shaped display stands to allow each case/colourway to be displayed outside of its packaging, touched, picked up and even placed on your iPhone to see how it looks!

Here's a Blue case on an iPhone 14 Pro in Purple:

Initial impressions are that it's a soft-touch silicon-esque case, but the small confetti plastic bits actually add a bit of texture and grip (or some may say grittiness) to the case. Blue looks a bit like ugly toothpaste, but so ugly it’s cute? I wish it was grippier though. Wish the MagSafe loop was not as visible, but in general the case fits well.

MagSafe connection isn't strong enough to hold a Peak Design Stand Wallet confidently, that's for sure! Pulling out the stand detaches the entire wallet.
Thanks for the pics of the blue case! This and the white cases both seem to have a grey undertone to them.

Can’t wait to see someone post the purple one!

I got the gray (it’s definitely more gray than white in person) for my purple 14 Pro. It didn’t really show in the pics I posted earlier, but in daylight, on a purple phone at least, it takes on a blue-gray tint. The purple of the camera really pops in that light. While I don’t care for the light MagSafe ring so much, I’m going to keep it. Only downside is it’s enough bigger and stickier than the Apple leather case I was using that it’s harder to get in and out of a pocket and the purse pocket that it intended for a phone. It works good enough, though.

So I picked up the purple and I quite like it.

Like others have said, the edges are much stiffer and wraps around the phone much better than last years version. It’s night and day compared to the Figura which is very loose.

That color looks a lot better than the pictures on the Otterbox and Apple sites, where it looks pastel/Easter-eggy. Now I wish I had gotten that instead of the gray.

Are they more silicone or more hard plastic feeling?

ETA: typo
Somehwere in between I'd say.

They feel harder than the Apple silicone but softer than the Apple clear case.

Good drop protection too. I dropped my iPhone accidentally onto the pavement and no dents or scratches on the case and the phone stayed securely inside the case with no damage.

so I got this case, and my god, it's bad; it's like they have covered a clear apple case in a thick textured rubber material.
the buttons on the side are very hard to press, and the mag safe is weak.
straight back to apple as a return.

Close-up of the white/funfetti case for the 13 mini. It feels absurd to say this about something as mundane as a phone case but it is... oddly enjoyable, especially on a Starlight or Pink mini. Adds character to an otherwise nondescript slab of glass and metal in a sea of nondescript slabs of glass and metal. Conjures an image of a birthday cake every time I look at it.

Can't speak for the construction of the 13's cases vs the 14's but I think the white/funfetti colourway is elite and should have been carried over to the 14.

Here is the white/funfetti case on my pink 13 mini. At long last.

I think I lucked out with this one. It is translucent (particularly evident under bright lighting conditions - the phone imparts its own hue to the case and you can see the Apple logo glistening through it), so it has all of the upsides of a clear case, with none of the downsides - it won't yellow, it won't smudge or scratch, and if moisture pools between the phone and the case it won't show up.

The texture is very different to your run-of-the-mill silicone case. It definitely feels like smooth rubber - it is made of rubber anyway - and that gives it some slip, but the protruding funfetti bits compensate for this by adding a decent bit of grip (and are a sensory delight if I do say so myself). Never thought I'd find myself liking an Otterbox but damn is this case fabulous.

The 14 series Core are much improved over the versions for the 13. Sides and bottom do not pull away from the phone at all.
Hi , just to confirm if you tug on the sides and bottom they barely move ? So nothing like the symmetry? if so I might grab one today … I’ve been searching for a while for a case that is tight fitting all around similar to the Apple leather

Do you think the phone with back skin will fit in this case ? Also if no skin do you feel the phone will get scratched in the case with what ever materials is inside the case ? I can’t really tell by the pics

Update - could Not resist , I just ordered it with delivery for today . If I choose free delivery it won’t come until February lol ..so my military discount sort of made up for the 9 bucks shipping :)

Well I just got this case and I’m so glad I seen this post . This case is amazing , the fit is what I’ve been looking for and the feel/grip is outstanding.. and no finger prints on the black one .plus it’s a decent brand case ... sort of reminds me of the old magpul case ..

Would love to see a pic of the black case on your phone!

I know the color is not for everyone but In person it’s not bad… the fit and tight edges , the feel and lack of finger prints really make up for it for me ..
You have the Ringke frame around the lenses, right?

And yeah, it does look like it'd do a great job at protecting the phone, have a good grip and no finger prints, etc., and yet... I wish it were available in the color @jaxx7 has shown 😔

Got myself another one, this time in a colourway Otterbox calls "Blueberry Pie". Promptly slapped a matching Magsafe Popsocket on it. The Funfetti remains my favourite but this is charming in its own right.
