Otterbox symmetry anyone ?

So went to best buy to try one out. Definitely not big. Nice size. One thing that annoyed me was the rubber. Pretty flimsy, especially on the power button. When you push down on the power button it gives a ton. Weird to explain until you try it. We'll see how it goes when my case comes in.

really? the one i got is extremely strong the rubber, strange, might have been that one, almost no give with rubber especially with the power button
 
Hey I have a question, Does anyone know how this would do with a screen protector? I have a generic anti glare SP from a kiosk. I remember doing the defender trick back in the day with my screen protector on, where I punched out the defender screen. The worst it did was bubble on the bottom side a little because of the pressure of the defender, but then again it was not meant to be like that, and when I took the defender off there was no sign of bubbles or marks.

I have been dealing with a slim gameboy case for the time being (has a loose fit) and took the defender off since it felt loose without it's cheap built in screen protector.

The only thing that is holding me back is, will this case cause my screen protector to bubble.

And another thing is that I'm waiting for the case to come in teal on their website. 😉

If anyone has this case with a screen protector, ect. Please let me know how it fairs.🙂
 
Was just at my local Best Buy. Saw it, and for $40 was not impressed. Got the spec candy shell for $21 on a price match from Amazon

The one thing that impressed me was that it was thin and light. I am sure it offers solid protection, but for $40 I expect more. I am not a huge spigen fan, but the tough armor is $23 on amazon. The symmetry is overpriced IMO.

Actually surprisingly happy with the white/charcoal candy shell. Feels good in the hand and looks good on the black 5s
 
So ironic. Was taking the candy shell off, damn thing broke. Looks like the symmetry would have been better. 😕
 
I picked mine up today from Best Buy. Very slim and protective case. The buttons are very responsive and the bottom near the lightning port is pretty stiff. I don't suspect any sagging at all.
 
Returned the candy shell and caved and got the symmetry. Overall...impressed. Very thin and light for an OB. Only complaint is the rubber seems to be a dust magnet. Good overall though.

You have had the case for a few days right? How does the dust problem fair after a few days? Are you still using the case?

still using it, and have no intention of changing. Very impressed. Well made and light. The dust issue is still there, but that is the only flaw I see thus far
 
Just picked up a black one at Bestbuy. The button seems better than the grey I ordered from otterbox. Overall I really like this case. Just nice and slim with great protection. I highly recommend this case
 
Does anyone have the glacier version of this case on the space gray 5s? Curious about the combination
 
love this case. slim factor and offers the best protection.
1 way to get rid of the dust is to wipe the cover with a piece of damp cloth.
 
My wife was kind enough to stop at best buy and bought me the glacier for the space gray 5s. Looks good and I love the case. Now I have the black and glacier. 🙂
 
Hey I am still on the fence about this case, im waiting for the teal version to come in but, is the case durable? Im currently using a gameboy silicone thats loose and flismy, is the symmetry durable and fits nice, but tight enough to support a screen protector? Also my silicone case attracts lint like crazy, but im sure symmetry does as well, but if it has a good fit I wont mind since I'm used to it.
 
I'm sort of missing my apple leather case, may switch back. Anyone else feeling it
