Otterbox users...does yours have this problem?

I love my Otterbox Defender case, but I think the dock part that snaps off is hard to get on and off. The biggest issue for me, though, is the rubber part in the back ABOVE the dock and right under the clear circle cut-out for the Apple logo. It puffs out and I try to push it down, but it won't go down and sit flush. Does this happen to anyone else. Is there a fix. Should I ask for a replacement? Thanks.
