HAHA i lvoe it, thats what we have at our school. I hate it. Server down, tree cannot be found, are you sure your password is right, server blew up, ALL kinds of error messages logging in. and when i do login at school, aim, msn messagner, yahoo messanger, winamp, kazaa, counter strike all open and the computer freezes and im back to square one, but no, i dont do that anymore. i rip that ethenet cable out, plug it in the powerbook, login in through internet explorer because safari doesnt work with it, and then im set, web email, music store, everything, and no windows.Originally posted by King Cobra

ill tell you something fun i do. on all the computers they have disables all novell instant messgaing for the school system. so i whip out the laptop, log into our network with the windows version on vpc. and i instant message the whole school district, about 10,000 kids probably. its great, i get responses back from some kids at the middle schools. they get kind of freaked out.Originally posted by King Cobra
Yeah. Tree server errors really put me out on a limb.
🙄
But sometimes I like to fool around with the portables. Sometimes I plug in my USB extention cable and my white Pro Mouse so I can evade the trackpad. Not to mention plugging in my Apple mouse doesn't cause the PC to crash. It's incredible.
thats so awesome, somebody who worked with me, at his high school he had novell apps that he would just click and it would bring down the whole server, whether he was all talk or not i dont know, he was real smart, even hada damn finger print scanner on his laptop so your oculdnt get in. i would like to know how to hack, but not for the wrong reasons, though it would be tempting, mainly for peronal protection and sercuring my computers.Originally posted by King Cobra
A while back one student hacked into the messaging system to say something like
snow day class cancelled -- I own you all
in all caps. It was hilarious.
A freshman in the program I attend at my H.S. can hack further into the system and mess around with the C: Drive, as well as get around the server block.

Well I can't take credit for this one, i saw as guy on SpyMac post it, but I didn't see anyone on this site post it. This is ranting on about Macs and it's really funny. It's like what guy said on spymac, "This would make me embarrased to be an Editor." Well his email is on there so I'm gonna bombard this guy with email talking about his pc's, just to see what he says back.

one of my favorite comments on his "article" is the one that says 'i couldnt have said it better'. he says m$'s new slogan should be 'it just works' in order to show its better than the mac. except he obviously fails to realize the fact that this catchphrase is pretty much THE sales phrase for mac.

In case your not kidding: there are a few more than just FCP and iTunes...
i dunno; winamp3 is easily one of the best i have ever used. i never used it with more than a 500 song library, but it was by far the most beautiful. nullsoft are geniuses for coming up with the free form skinning thing. that was innovation. apple should hook up with them, but oops, i forgot, apple doesn't like to let people have the looks they want 🙄Originally posted by dukestreet
iTunes is a better music app than anything out there, mac or pc in my opinion.
FCP is a better DV editor for the money than any of its competitors.
Again, all this shows is his lack of research.
