wow 11pm? Seems odd to receive a delivery at that time of the night doesn't it?

It's 8:08pm here in Vancouver and I am still waiting :(

I said before...its Apple day! Anything can happen! LOL. They probably assume whoever is waiting for an iPhone is probably not gonna sleep until it arrives.

Just spoke with UPS...

said she would check one my order and put me on hold...

Annddd THE UPS TRUCK PULLS UP!!!

11:02PM EST... THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU ALL!

Always trust Apple they know what they are doing.

Apple is a great company that is why is one of the top companies in everything ( sales, number of employees, and more )

I am sure you will get your iphones today and if for any reason I am wrong tomorrow you will have them. UPS is going to work tomorrow. Apple is their best customer and they have to deliver all phones on time, they can't fail their best customer in the world, I am sure no other company moves more products thru UPS than Apple.

can't believe some of you got your phones so late. damn. I would have been extremely annoyed. Thankfully mine came at 2pm :p

Extremely annoyed? Dude I've been standing in line for 6+ hours, and I was first one too, and they sold out of the 6 Plus, now they forced me to "pre-order" it on release day and wait until they ship it out. T-Mobile canceled my pre-order I placed on the 12th for no damn reason...

Where did you all order yours and got it being delivered today!?!?!?

Thru Apple.com

But you have to order the phone before 11am time of cupertino because after that time it changed to 7 to 10 business days for the 6 and 2 to 3 weeks for the 6 plus. The 6 plus was more difficult to find it, I think you have to order it before 3am

Wow, not sure that I have ever seen a UPS truck do a 11pm delivery. I bet that drive was flat-out exhausted!

App Store around 4:30AM EST on preorder night.

Well, ****. I pre-ordered off t-mobile as soon as they added the "Pre-Order" button, which was like around 4-5 hours after 12:01 am. Then it got canceled like literally this morning and had to place another order. I am told that it will be delivered within 8 weeks. within EIGHT weeks.

That sucks! Sorry to hear. I have heard horror stories when people pre order from carrier which is why I went with Apple. I had a chance to do it with ATT but waited... Glad I waited thats for sure. Hope it works out for you!

Yeah, I learned my lesson on never ordering it off carriers. The funny part is that T-Mobile wants me to pay $25 if I want next day delivery instead of their "standard". And they have no idea on when they're restocking as well. Worst part is that I wasted 6 hours lining up at their retailer store finding out they don't carry any iPhone 6 Plus, but only 6's at the time...:mad:

Mine was finally delivered at 4 pm. It was by a new driver, one I'd seen come through riding with my usual driver the day before. Heck of a way to start a job--your first day on your own is iPhone launch day!

Never arrived

UPS website still hasn't updated on where the package might be

So much for being up and ordering as soon as Apple's store app went live.

Sigh... UPS said they're gonna try to redeliver on MONDAY..... What a ****ing joke.

I'm willing to come pick up the damn phone from them tomorrow but of course Saturday is so sacred and they can't do **** for me

There was a ridiculous amount of false optimism and hope in this thread.

I was out for most of the night, and I kept track on the order (Verizon preorder set for delivery for 9/19), but by 9pm I knew it wasn't going to come — and behold — it didn't. What I did do is, I called them and found out it was being held at a local Fedex center. I'm likely going to pick it up tomorrow because it was rescheduled for a Monday delivery, they said that was an option if I didn't want to wait until then. Maybe of you can likely do the same as I would imagine most of our phones for deliveries today at least are in the same service area as where you are.

It's crazy some of you got shipments past 9pm: that's practically unheard of in the delivery practice and the whole "delivering until my truck is empty" stuff is simply not true unless it's for a Christmas Eve rush, and even then, I've hardly heard of deliveries past then occurring too frequently.

Fedex handled this pretty poorly (although the tech support was very good in response to my claims). My phone arrived in Dallas at 5pm but was unable to be sorted and delivered in time. I was told they had an absurd number of arrivals of the phones and it messed with their delivery cycle. That is fine and understood, but the website continued to say that it would be delivered, back to "N/A", then back to a 9/19 delivery by 8pm.

It's just absurd really. I'm okay with waiting until Monday if by some chance I can't pick it up tomorrow, but this was easily one of the more absurd shipping experiences I've dealt with.

Seems like a lot of people had trouble with the shipping experiences this time around. Not sure how it was last year but def a big problem this years it seems.

Yeah. Makes me think it's absolutely clear that the bigger screens played a huge part in the mad drive to get the orders this year. I've never had issues with launch day iPhone preorders before but this seems to have had a lot of problems.

I would have to agree with you on that one.
