Out for Delivery!

We need a popcorn eating icon like some forums have. I'm really enjoying this thread.
 
Finally here! Arrived about 20 minutes ago :D:D No activation problems either yay!

Delivered at 8:30. The guy said he was staying out until they were all delivered, and that he'd been doing nothing but delivering phones all day.

I'm so angry right now, all i can do is laugh!

I've been a prisoner all day. my fiance is pissed off with me. i didnt get anything done. and its almost 9pm.

WTF kind of message is that anyways?? it was "MISSED"? if it was MISSED why the HELL didnt it say that sometime before, oh i dunno, 8:03 PM!!!
 
It's almost 7PM here in Phoenix, AZ. Still no delivery. My partner has been on the lookout all day. If anything, it's comforting knowing I'm not the only person still waiting for a delivery.

We've never had good luck with UPS here in our the neighborhood.

Wow. That is total incompetence. It's not even me and that pisses me off. ,Jeez will they allow you too pick it up at the UPS center?

Ugh, I can't even get through to ups to find out. Ive never had a problem with ups. But this is really messed up. I can make it out there today, my fiancé will kill me. I don't know If they let you pick up on Saturdays?

I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. If it has, I feel your pain :(

Yeah they usually do since they need to be open for those that requested Saturday deliveries.

Man, I feel for you brother!! Well, you had your turn, now it's somebody else's. Also, at least they were honest and did not blow smoke up that certain hole!! For what it's worth, it's worth the wait....:D

EDIT: They probably did not realize your iPhone was in the warehouse until they found it on the floor underneath a sorting machine. :eek:

Just got mine at 7:24 in LA. Driver said he has made 68 stops just for the iphone since 8AM. Give them a little time. These guys are working hard today.
 
mine was over 14 hours "out for delivery". We had finally left the house and two or three streets away saw the truck so we turned around and went back home to wait. We were a little late for the homecoming football game but I got some great video with it.
 
It's interesting reading these posts because according to my UPS driver, all of his iPhone 4S packages had to be delivered by noon today. I got mine at 10:45am. Normally, UPS doesn't come by my house until 4-5pm.
 
7:45 this evening and still no delivery - to hell with this.

I put a note on the door refusing delivery and drove to the Apple Store and had a new iPhone 4s in my hands within 20 minutes.

I have to shake my head at the late hours and time I spent trying to preorder - could not get on the servers or phone after 45 minutes of trying from midnight to to 0145. Woke up early, got my order in with a 10/14 date - maybe not so bad.

I check MyUPS and see a confirmed delivery time before 1030 - really good. No joy - recheck the site and the time was back to end of day. A whole day wasted hanging around. UPS would not allow a pickup at their Customer Service (ha ha ha) Center.

Now I have some extra charges until UPS gets the original iPhone returned and I get credited so the upgrade price will apply again.

I will never pre-order again - many people had luck - some of us just wasted time and energy.
 
For those still waiting, what is the tracking saying? Still out for delivery?
I wondered because my guy said he worked all day to get all phones out before 7. There was never a directive to get them out before noon.
