What’s the most comfortable band in your opinion?

I only have the Milanese loop and silicone bands, so my preference is based on those two. And the silicone band wins for nighttime comfort, though I have to admit that I often don't bother to change and just sleep with the Milanese loop. Not a huge problem, but I do notice the difference, especially over time.

You're very welcome! I highly recommend a sport loop for extreme comfort.

I will keep that in mind!

Now it sounds like my son might want to try the watch, so I may end up giving it to him. But he's not really a watch guy, so if he gives it back I'll definitely synch it to my iPhone and use it as a sleeper.

I used a sleep tracker when I first got my AW3. realised it was a waste of time when it reported I was in deep sleep when I had in fact been driving two hours to work. Never bothered since

I’d rather Apple let me track my phones sleep rather than mine, it tends to lose way too much battery overnight!!

As noted by others, your issues drive what you are interested in tracking. No issues, why track it.

Me, I have Parkinson's, heart failure, and narcolepsy. One indicator of when the narcolepsy can be worse is REM sleep - as in a lack of it. My last sleep study showed in 6 hours of sleep I had zero REM time. So the sleep app is useful for tracking it.

Mind you, there's no cure for narcolepsy but meds for Parkinsons can make it worse. So I know to cut back if my REM sleep is down, and that I might need caffeine if I do any driving. Or get some nap time in.

Now if the AW had a pulse ox sensor it would really be nice. I mean have a sensor and actually turn it on (waves at Fitbit). Does everyone need it, or sleep tracking? No. Not everyone runs marathons or plays music from their watch either.
