Seriously, they trying to piss people off intentionally?

We already know Angela A. hates lines and thinks it isn't classy. What does she think about the Mac fanatics?

Angela:"Fill the orders backwards! The die hard fans make me sick, dang squatters!"

If this is really filing orders out of place, I can see them offering free sport bands, much like they do when they screw up the other launches.

iPhone OG: sorry we reduced the price $200, here's $100 back
iPhone 4: sorry Steve is mean, here's a case
Apple Watch: yeah, we know, Angela screwed up royally. Here's our worst bands.

Why must everything be a gate? Also, as someone who does a moderate amount of shipping and fulfillment, it's not always so clear-cut. Wait until next week and get back to me.

What does the head of retail have to do with the fulfilment of online orders?

I fully agree with the spirit of that statement and don't blame Ahrendts for any delays...on the other hand...she did tell us to get our orders fulfilled online, so that's what she has to do with it in a roundabout sense. ;)

You may be seriously pissed off but we can't take you seriously. Sorry.

Gate. Angela.

You basically lost all credibility right there. Sure it's the intrawebs, but that doesn't make you right. Or wrong. It just makes you another person screaming through a keyboard.

Also, what's with blaming Angela A. for everything. If they run out of paper for their printers is that her fault, too?

Isn't Tim Cook still in charge of everything? Isn't he ultimately responsible for what goes on under his reign as CEO and isn't he the one who has the strong logistics experience? Where is the call for his head on a platter? Why is Ahrendts the one everyone seems to want to burn in effigy on this board? She has a finite defined role in the company. Yet people insist on attributing things to her that can't possibly be part of her job description.

i would agree, however there are a lot of issues with this last 2 launches that didn't appear in previous launches under Tim Cook's reign.

When people look at what's different with the most recent 2 launches.. guess who is new??

I am not saying customers are always rational, but they have a point

Seems like lots of people are unhappy with Angela. Perhaps I should post a video on YouTube screaming "Leave Angela ALONE!". If it gets popular, she might throw me an Edition (I really want the one that Beyonce has).

I see your point. The thing is, correlation does not imply not causation. I suppose in this case it may not rule it out, either. I don't know. I am hoping Tim Cook takes time from his happy dance and takes a hard look at how to shore up the problems that cause products to fail to be available for weeks past their launch dates.

I know actually of three launches that had supply constraints and unhappy customers. My husband just happened to be affected in all three. We couldn't get iPhone 6pluses on launch day or for weeks afterward. He can't get the MacBook in the configuration and color he wants in time for his trip. It's a 4-6 week if he orders now. He could have a base model from a non-Apple retailer but it is not the model he wants to handle his work flow. And his Apple Watch may not be arriving during launch day. (Mine is supposed to).

In many respects, they are victim of their own success. Since their products are wildly popular, it makes supply chain management all that more difficult. The iPhone 4 sold about 1/4 as many in the first quarter as the iPhone 6/6 Plus, but even it quickly ran out and crashed online order servers.

It isn't limited to Apple. Samsung supposedly was unprepared for the relative popularity of the Galaxy S6 Edge relative to the S6 and shipping times are extending out weeks now. Yogi Berra was on to something when he said "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded."
