Couldn't find any documentation on the Apple website to confirm this, but I went in to the Apple Store with my iPhone 6 for a failed antenna/radio (modem) issue (signal kept saying "Searching...") and paid $299 for an Out of Warranty replacement (luckily my Discover card will reimburse me). Much to my surprise, upon checking the serial no. of my replacement, it has a year warranty set to expire June 28 2017.

Is this typical? I thought replacements were only warrantied for 3 months, or is that just a replacement received while still in warranty?

EDIT: Never mind - checked the Serial no. again this morning and it says Warranty has expired....

My replacement iPhone 5s did the same thing, it said a year of warranty, then a few days later it corrected itself to be the end of term of my AppleCare+.
