Hi,

I am new to apple and recently started using Mac Book Pro. I bought it in Jan 2012 so i believe it has all the recent updates.

I am using Outlook 2011 on MAC. It works fine when i am connected to my company network via VPN or when in Office building and connected via wired LAN. When i connect via vpn, i need to add company DNS server to make it work.

At work, as soon as i switch to secured company wireless network, Outlook 2011 does not work. I tried everything but it does not work.

The exchange setting which work on VPN and wired LAN is

https://sxxxhc01.sxxx.local/EWS/Exchange.asmx

Please note on company wireless network, my webmail works with following address

https://mail.sxxxx.org

My company IT Help desk do not support MAC and shall be very thankful if someone can help

Thanks,

Regards,

Perhaps they don't want unauthorized devices accessing Exchange on the secure wireless? If your company doesn't support Macs you're SOL. They're the only ones in a position to help you, so if they refuse to do it just use webmail.

The wired lan is using a .local domain name from Active Directory. It's more than likely that the wireless either isn't being passed that zone in DNS, or the wireless net is on a DMZ.

Mine are on my DMZ, you could potentially do what I do and VPN in off the wireless network.

Oh, and your Office isn't updated unless you update it. Just because you bought it in January doesn't mean you have the latest version, and Microsoft just released the latest service pack in the last week.
