Hi, I am trying to help a blind user browse between folders in outlook 2011. He can change folders i.e. move between the inbox and sent items, but the only way he can move to the messages after switching folders, is to quit the program. Once the program reopens, the cursor is in "messages" section in the desired folder.

Is there a shortcut to switch from the folders to the messages pane?

If not, is there a script to do so?

In Outlook 2011 for Mac, when a folder is selected, hit Tab. This will make the folder name editable. Hit Tab key again, this will switch focus into the messages pane.

Use SHIFT + tab twice to go backwards from message pane to editable folder name to folder.
