If I use my company POP3 account and gmail as the SMTP account, how can I avoid the recipient seeing me as "name@gmail.com" as sender? I can do it easily by default on the Outlook for Windows, but on Mac Outlook 2011, the sender is always name@gmail.com. Tks.

The choices of POP3 and SMTP servers are completely independent of each other. If push comes to shove, then setup your company's email address with Gmail's SMTP server.

yes, found out that Gmail allow us to setup the default sender using the company mail address. It just works very different with Outlook Windows, that this setup is in the client (Outlook) while in Mac Outlook, we have to set it up in the SMTP server (Gmail). Talk abt consistency... 🙄 Tks.
