Question for Office 2016 users...

Can you get Outlook to boot with the identity selector? (see screenshot)

In 2011 you could rename one of your user folders in Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities and launch Outlook, which would prompt the selector to appear. You could then check the "Show this list when opening Outlook" box to get it to appear every time you launch Outlook and make it easy to switch between identities. I can't find any confirmation that 2016 has the option, and it would be a huge hassle to my workflow if it was removed in 2016. I believe "Identities" are now called "Profiles" in 2016, so that might be a slight difference this time.

Can anyone with Outlook 2016 give it a try and let me know if that function still exists?

Tried the 2016 trial and...
It looks like MS has removed this functionality. You have to launch the profile manager each time to switch.

Bummer. :(

Time to "upgrade" back to 2011. ;) The MS Office forum is loaded with folks who regretted buying 365 or the stand alone version of 2016. The MS MVPs there say improvements may be forthcoming. Yeah right. :(
