Outlook not synching at all, totally cloudless

I have XP and Mac and iPod etc. All seems to work okay within the limits of the Apple-push but not XP Contacts/Calendar to cloud. Software installs fine, starts okay, it synchs and nothing actually gets uploaded. At least, I can't see any of the XP data on the me.com site, which, by the way, still seems to hang when selecting Contacts and Calendar. Anybody got it done, has any idea on how to work this. Thanks.
