Outlook requires a login EVERYTIME for Gmail and Yahoo????

I had this problem previously with Outlook requiring me to re-login over and over again with Yahoo mail though now it is also doing it with different Gmail accounts, and it is doing it on both my iPhone and iPad. Are there any ways to correct this or I need to ditch this app because it is now unusable.

It sounds like you may need an app-specific password for Outlook on your Apple devices.

Go into the Outlook app, then Settings inside the app. Make sure 'Require Touch ID' is turned off. Or Outlook will require authentication every time you open a mailbox in Outlook.

I saw this a few days ago with my gmail accounts. Every time i went into mail it would pick one of my gmail accounts to require the password. and this was with Edison Mail, not Outlook. I think it was something hinky at Google as it went away the next day.
