Outlook Sync

Hi,

Just wondering but, my iPhone won't sync Outlook calender attachments over Exchange - does the iPad allow this either over Exchange or simple USB/iTunes? Assuming not (same technology etc), does the iPad allow for Personal Mail folders to be sync'd via USB/iTunes?

Not sure what you mean by calendar "attachments"?

I've used google synch to keep the iPhone, iPad and main desktop outlook calendar synchronized and it works brilliantly. Had to setup a gmail account just for it but it all worked very easily. It now instanlty synchs 3-way wirelessly. Not sure about meeting invitations, but once accepted they just appear as a normal date booking.

For mail folders you would either need a proper exchange server or IMAP email. I was looking at changing or using a service to provide exchange but don't think I really need it... I can always iTeleport to my main PC if I really need to!

I sync with exchange and haven't had a problem. Good luck.
