Output to a projector

I'm running the latest version of bootcamp and WinXP Pro SP2 on my Macbook Pro and I can't seem to get windows to output the display to an external LCD projector. Is there a keyboard shortcut needed to force windows to output to the projector? I've tried going into the display properties and extending the desktop to a second monitor, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

If I reboot into OS X the projector recognizes the computer without any problems.

Any thoughts?
