Outstanding AppleCare Service!

    Since good stories about Apple are tougher to find around here, I figure I would give my input regarding my most recent experience with Apple.

    I had been experiencing several hardware issues with my 2.16GHz MBP, and nothing Apple did seemed to resolve the issues. I would mail in my computer for repair, but they were always returned broken even though the hardware was replaced. Well, a few weeks ago the computer was starting to randomly shut down also.

    I called AppleCare and spoke to a product specialist. He concluded that we had done everything to diagnose and troubleshoot the computer. Given the extensive repair history of my computer, he determined that it was faulty and would need to be replaced. Thus, I am sitting here now with a 2.4GHz Unibody MBP! All I had to do was send them the faulty computer. The product specialist was very helpful in every way. He guided me through making a backup of my drive and made sure I would received the replacement as soon as possible.

    I am no longer having any issues at all. Everything just works again. Thank you Apple.

    Good to hear to the great news about applecare.
    I have yet to buy mine, figure I have another 7 months to, unless I decide to upgrade.
