iPod Overall view on ripped dvd's on iPod 5th gen

What is your overall opinion/view on the quality, and reliability of ripping your dvd's onto your iPod 5th gen/video?

Excellent quality on the iPod itself.
I use MacTheRipper, Cinematize, and QT Pro.

I purchased cinematize tried ripping a dvd with it but cinematize wont reconize the file. It keeps saying one or more files can not be added to the list. All file names must conform to the DVD standard. Does it mean that I have to rip the entire dvd and can't just choose chapters?
