According to Marco's blog, if you paid the IAP in the past this is how it should work:
Buyers of the old $4.99 unlock from year one: Restore Purchases from the Premium screen, and you won’t see the normal ads, but you may see occasional promos for Premium to support further development.

Worked for me! Yay.

Does it refresh for anyone else on every open of the app? Also it is very annoying having to tap the podcast twice to have it play now.

Tried to delete the app so I could restore the old one from my iTunes. Turns out the backup I had is v1. something and won't work.

Hi Folks,
Could you please help me because I'm lost :)
I was using Overcast for a while. Actually I care only Apple Watch app. Before upgrade it downloaded itself on my iPhone and then I was able to select and start podcast from AW.
After upgrade I do have a few episodes downloaded to iPhone but none of it is listed on Apple Watch. It states: 'No episodes. The current playlist list is empty'.
What does it mean? I will not see 'new' episodes automatically as before? Should I manually add each new episode to Playlist?
I'm confused and frustrated. Please explain how you handle it on Apple Watch ...
Thanks.
P.S. I'll attach a screen shot of current UI

People didn't know slide to delete? It's everywhere in the OS. Like pull to refresh, it's just something everyone knows and having to click play twice just because people didn't know how to delete episodes is frustrating.

I liked the episode notes pop-over. Shame that's gone as well
I constantly invoke the notes pop-over when trying to delete episodes during periods when the app is busy downloading episodes. Partly that is a problem of the slide-to-left action becoming unresponsive in those moments.

I've got no objections agains the subscription (although there's a LOT of them these days), but the app is very buggy at the moment:
  • It thinks my iPhone SE is an iPhone 6/7, apparently; the edges of the UI are out of reach after a while, which forces me to reboot in order to do anything
  • Bad swiping responsiveness
  • Podcast search seems broken

[doublepost=1487851698][/doublepost]Hey Apple Watch users!
How are using it now?
After upgrade it does not list downloaded episodes at all.
It wants only Playlist and one should add episodes to it manually.
For me it sounds completely broken for Apple Watch users.
Any other experience?
