Hey guys,

I just noticed my macbook pro 13" has not stopped charging all day, it says 99% full on charge with 8-9 minutes until fully charged, yet when i take the charger out it says 100 percent. I have just bought a new charger, is this worth worrying about?

No need to worry about, as the last few percent take a bit longer:

Thanks!

Hey thanks for the info!!

I left it charging overnight and woke up this morning to it still charging, it still says 100% but the orange light has not turned off. It has never taken this long before. even typing this reply I'm on battery and still 100%

Another good thing to remember is the indicator is not always perfectly accurate. It's very close, but there are times when mine only goes to 99% and other times 100%, there's no need to worry. Nearly every MBP or MBA I have had has been like this. What's really great is how long Apple's batteries last.

If it stays plugged in all night and the orange light on the MagSafe connector doesn't turn green, something isn't right. Try a SMC reset?
