So I broke my iPhone 4 recently (unusable, battery dies in 1 minute, back is cracked, wont fit in any case, carrier doesn't work) and im temperarly on my iPhone 3G. I jailbreaked it and installed most of the apps that I can use. Is there a way to overclock the iPhone 3G On iOS 4.2.1 using a cydia tweak or iFile? Don't suggest iOverclock, its fake.

I also did delete some launchdaemons because it was eating up alot of ram and now im sitting with 40mb of ram idle.

I wouldn't waste time on a 7 year old outdated and slow device.
You can't make it go faster. Get something newer if you want speed and reliability.
Yea but I'm getting an iPhone 6S in about 2 weeks. I just want to make it "livable" for 2 weeks. You woudn't waste time but if its your main phone besides an nokia flipphone that doesnt have any apps you would definatly try to make it livible. :p
If i renmber right there was an overclocking thing in something.plist in the filesystem. I wonder if that still is a posibility.
