I still have my S0 42mm.

Have never used my watch to track sleep purely because if I was to wear it when I sleep, when I wake at 06:45, I leave the house at 07:15 so that doesn't really give me enough time to charge the watch again before I leave the house.

Are people saying that with Theatre mode and DNS both turned on whilst they sleep, the watch is only losing 1 to 5% battery?

Additionally, doesn't the watch track sleep natively without a 3rd party app?

Interesting - I wake up at 5, plop the watch on the charger, hop in the shower, have breakfast and usually am ready to go by 5:30 - watch is always at 100% no matter where it is at the night before (usually 86% - 90%).

Yeah, AutoSleep - the app I use, says it just uses the watch's own native tracking - I don't even have to have the app on the watch for it to track sleep.

It varies for me but I can definitely lose 4-6% overnight - I'll try the DNS and Theatre mode for a few nights and see if that makes any difference. I keep going back and forth on raise to wake - that's my biggest battery usage difference right now.

...thats interesting what you are saying too!

I might just have to try that Autosleep app then and see what happens. And like you, I guess I too could pop the watch back on the charger for the half hour before I leave the house.

:)

Does anyone know a way to schedule Theatre mode automatically? It sucks one has to remember to do that every time one goes to bed...

I'm afraid not. I just have it as part of my bedtime routine: I confirm my alarm is set for the time I want to get up (it does vary because my work hours can vary), I enabled theater mode, and I start my Pillow sleep tracking app (the auto sleep ones don't work well for me because I get out of bed at least once a night and Pillow seems to track those interruptions better).

In the morning I stop the alarm (okay... maybe I snooze it a couple of times first), stop Pillow, and disable theater mode.

I don't really consider this to be inconvenient at all. Bedtime routines are actually shown to be effective at helping you relax and go to sleep.
