Override "Accessory not supported"

just wondering after anyone knows of hack that can make my iphone charge in an accessory that is not supported?

i've got a dension dock in my car that charges ipods but not iphones.....its probably something that is impossible to do but i thought i'd give it a try on here

There's one under Tweaks. NoAccessorySplash iOS4 I believe.

NoAccessorySplash is what you're thinking of--but that will only turn off the popup warning. It won't allow the device to charge if it otherwise can't--that's a hardware issue, not a software tweak. Presumably the dock doesn't put out enough power to charge the phone.

after a few hours of looking it seems that the ipod only charges with a 5v adaptor and apparently the dension dock charges at 12v
