With the pricing of Gen 5 SSDs, this accelerator is starting to look very good. Considering you can get 8 x 4 TB Gen 4 SSDs at 200 USD + the accelerator you're looking at just about 2000 USD for 32 TB @ 26,000MB/s.

Well the current Mac Pro which still goes well go $5000 it seems overkill because I'm not sure if it has the PCI high speed ports on it!
