Hello,

So my old Hard Drive was on the way out and I decided to replace it with a 1.5 TB HDD and at the same time replace my Super Drive with the OWC Data Doubler and install a 1TB HDD into that for Bootcamp.

I used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my OSX partition to the 1.5 TB HDD and used WinClone to make an image of my Bootcamp partition that I copied to the new 1.5 TB HDD.

I successfully completed the Disk swapping (including the Super Drive with the Data Doubler) and booted into OSX. However when I started it up, the first thing to appear on my screen was "The Disk you inserted was not readable by this computer", I selected Ignore and then went to Disk Utility to create a partition/format the new 1TB HDD in the Data Doubler with MS-DOS (FAT) so that I could use WinClone to re-install Bootcamp. However when I am attempting to create a partition on the 1TB HDD, the message "Could not mount disk1s1 with the name (null) after erase" and does nothing further leaving the 1TB HDD unpartitioned.

Does anyone know what is going on and how I can fix this?

Thank you in advance for your help!!
