I'm sorry that this changes the subject, but what about Apple? Do they have a policy for dead pixels? I have had my MBP for 3 years and have noticed a few spots in the middle of my screen.

Apple's policy is 5 pixels or more.

OWCs website says, COMING SOON...for monitors! So I do not think they have any 'policy' on dead pixels at this post, (links don't work yet).

You will have to wait and see what their policies will be.
