looking to max out the ram in my intel imac 20".... came across " OWC RAM ".... suprisingly they have a kit just for maxing out my imac to 3gb... and for a great price to, $177.99.... ( seems to good to be true )

but im just looking for an general opnion on this brand if anybody had problems in the past.

here is the discreption:

3.0GB (1GB + 2GB Module Set) Upgrade kit for all Apple 'Core 2 Duo' 1.83GHz, 2.0GHz, 2.16GHz, 2.33GHz MacBook, MacBook Pro, and iMac Models. - PC5300 DDR2 667MHz 200 Pin. New, Lifetime Advance Replacement Warranty. (OWC53IM2DDR3GBK)

I have a 2 GB matched pair (1 GB x 2) and it works great! I'm sure that the 3 GB set will work just fine for you. 🙂

On the downside, I received bad RAM from OWC twice. On the plus side, both times they replaced the problematic sticks quickly and without question, and the replacements operated flawlessly. The other two times I ordered from OWC there were no problems at all.
